Dr. Paul Banerjee serves as the esteemed Medical Director of Polk County Fire Rescue and our clinic, bringing unparalleled expertise and a passion for advancing patient care. As an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Central Florida School of Medicine and Mercer University School of Medicine, he shapes the next generation of medical professionals with his innovative approach. His distinguished career includes accolades such as the Early Career Researcher Award from the University of Central Florida School of Medicine, the JEMS EMS 10 Innovator of the Year, and the 2012 EMS Medical Director of the Year for the State of Florida. Her journey began in her 20s when Multiple Sclerosis (MS) tested her resilience. Through sheer determination, Melissa not only reclaimed her vitality but also transformed her life, losing 70 pounds and building a legacy of wellness that inspires everyone around her.
